Bathing Assistance

Approved under the MSA-1904 as a personal care ADL task, bathing assistance ensures your loved one stays clean and comfortable without risk of falls or skin breakdown. Family caregivers enrolled in the Home Help Program can be paid to provide this care in the familiar environment of home, maintaining dignity and routine.

What This Includes

  • Full or partial bathing (tub, shower, or bed bath)
  • Hair washing and rinsing
  • Skin inspection during bathing
  • Safe transfer in and out of tub or shower
  • Post-bath drying and moisturizing
  • Adaptive equipment use as needed
